About the Senior Employment Program

The Senior Employment Program is designed to help older adults build confidence, strengthen essential computer and job‑readiness skills, and prepare for today’s evolving workforce. Whether you’re re‑entering employment, seeking a new direction, or continuing your lifelong learning journey, we’re here to guide and support you every step of the way.

The Senior Employment Program empowers you to keep growing, stay engaged, and put your valuable experience to work in meaningful ways.

Computer Skills Workshops

Resume Building

Interview Preparation & Online Job Applications

Learn the basics of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel in easy-to-follow, hands-on sessions.

Create or update a professional resume that highlights your experience and strengths.​

  • ​​Practice communication and presentation skills to feel confident in any interview setting.

  • Discover how to search for jobs online and submit applications with ease.

​​All workshops include access to computers and personalized support from our friendly instructors.

Our classes are open enrollment with a limited number of seats to allow more one-on-one training for our clients. The classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m.

Before attending a computer class for the first time, please contact the Dr. Piper Center to complete your enrollment paperwork.
