The name EmpowerEd combines empowerment and education, reflecting our mission to help seniors take charge of their futures by gaining practical skills, discovering new opportunities, and staying connected in a digital world.
The EmpowerEd Seniors Program is designed to help older adults build confidence, learn essential computer skills, and prepare for today’s job market. Whether you're looking to re-enter the workforce or simply want to keep learning, we’re here to support your journey.​

​​All workshops include access to computers and personalized support from our friendly instructors.
Our classes are open enrollment with a limited number of seats to allow more one-on-one training for our clients. The classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m.
Before attending a computer class for the first time, please contact the Dr. Piper Center to complete your enrollment paperwork.
